COVID-19 Recommendations
As you know, the heath and safety of Challenger Baseball athletes, volunteers and families is always at the forefront of our thinking. After countless hours of planning, consideration, discussion and review, we have been unable to develop guidelines which we believe adequately mitigate the heightened risks to Challenger Baseball participants and volunteers amid the COVID-19 outbreak. As such, Little League Canada, Baseball Canada, Challenger Baseball Canada and Jays Care Foundation strongly recommend that all in-person Challenger Baseball programs remain postponed until at least September 15th, 2020.
Needless to say, we are deeply disappointed to have to make this recommendation but, given the uncertainty of the situation, the wide disparity in guidance, and the constantly shifting landscape, we believe this is the right decision.
We look forward to the time when we can gather to safely play and celebrate Challenger Baseball again.
“There will be light after dark.”
